The process of safe use of the rolling machine

1、 Preparation before starting the rolling machine

1. Check for any abnormalities in all parts and ensure that the fastening screws (caps) are not loose. The brake should be functioning properly and reliably.

2. Strictly adjust the distance of the drum according to the thickness of the board, and do not overload the operation. Do not roll workpieces that exceed the specified mechanical performance range.

2、 Precautions during the operation of the rolling machine

1. The operation can only be started after the workpiece is placed steadily and in the correct position, and the signal should be clear and a designated person should be assigned to command.

2. Hands must not be placed on the rolled steel plate, and it is not allowed to use a template for inspection. After stopping the machine, a template can be used to check the roundness.

3. When rolling workpieces that are not round enough, a certain margin should be reserved when rolling them to the end of the steel plate to prevent the workpiece from falling and injuring people.

4. During homework, it is strictly prohibited to stand on the workpiece or to find the correct roundness on the already rolled cylinder.

5. When rolling thick and large-diameter cylinders or workpieces with high material strength, the rolling mill should be lowered slightly and rolled multiple times to form.

6. When rolling narrow cylinders, they should be rolled in the middle of the rolling mill.

7. After the workpiece enters the rolling mill, hands and clothes should be prevented from being caught in the rolling mill.

3、 Precautions for stopping the rolling machine

1. If any abnormal noise is found during the operation of the machine tool, it should be stopped immediately for inspection, adjustment, and repair.

2. Disconnect the switch and cut off the power supply.

3. After stopping the machine, place the workpiece at the designated location.
